Stormont have so far released 6 million pounds to local government for local authority revitalisation grant scheme for business. So far we have been able to identify the path to apply for such grants in Armagh Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, Mid Ulster District Council and the Causeway Coast and Glens District Council, The above eight councils will also have grants to distribute on a first come first served basis. We would advise local businesses in the above area to contact your council as soon as possible to find if grants are still available and the procedure to apply.

The grants are enable local businesses to adapt their normal working procedures to cope with the impact of the pandemic. These grants are to support local traders in an effort to enhance their capacity to serve customers in a safe environment. One of the most important and practical measures in the protection of customers is the provision of sanitisation stations at different locations throughout their premises.
